Mind Engineering Chap-1 Fundamental Patterns part-1.

Chapter-1 Fundamental Patterns . Part-1

First we can discuss about the basic patterns of our mind.

Before that I want to discuss about what is MIND…..? Where it is located…? What are their functions….? What MEDICAL SCIENCE says….?

Traditional views:

who knows the receptacle (Ayatana) verily becomes the receptacle of his people. Mind is verily the receptacle (of all our knowledge)." - Chhandogya Upanishad, V-i-5

Mind is one of the Ashta-Prakritis - "Earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, reason and egoism - these constitute the eightfold division of My Nature" (Gita, VII-4).
Mind is nothing but Atma-Sakti. It is brain that wants rest (sleep), but not the mind. A Yogi who has controlled the mind never sleeps. He gets pure rest from meditation itself.
Vedhantic Theory
Mind is Subtle Matter

Mind is not a gross thing, visible and tangible. Its existence is nowhere seen. Its magnitude cannot be measured. It does not require a space in which to exist. Mind and matter are two aspects as subject and object of one and the same all-full Brahman, who is neither and yet includes both. Mind precedes matter.

This is Vedantic theory. Matter precedes mind. This is scientific theory. Mind can be said to be immaterial only in the sense that it has not the characteristics of ponderable matter. It is not, however, immaterial in the sense that Brahman (Pure Spirit) as such is. Mind is the subtle form of matter and hence the prompter of the body.

Mind is made up of subtle, Sattvic, Apanchikrita (non-quintuplicate) Tanmatric matter. Mind is all electricity. According to the Chhandogya Upanishad, mind is formed out of the subtlest portion of food. Mind is material. Mind is subtle matter. This discrimination is made on the principle that the soul is the only source of intelligence; it is self-evident; it shines by its own light.

But the organs (mind and senses) derive their principle of activity and life from the soul. By themselves, they are lifeless. Hence the soul is always a subject and never an object. Manas can be an object of the soul. And it is a cardinal principle of Vedanta that that which is an object for a subject is non-intelligent (Jada). Even the principle of self-consciousness (Aham Pratyak-Vishayatva) or Ahankara is non-intelligent; it does not exist by its own light. It is the object of apperception to the soul.

Medical Science
Mind is not existing any where in the human anatomy. But brain is the cause to generate thoughts. We cannot define exactly about mind. But Mind is the cause for all our actions, words, deeds and achievements.

Recently Vethathiri Maharishi given a right definition at 1998 about Mind which is acceptable. Mind is nothing but a Bio-Magnetic wave.
Magnetism is the principle of two coalescent factors:
1) Gravity - self-compressive force and
2) The wave generated by the infinitesimal primary energy particles
Okay. Let it be theories. Our motto is not dealing with theories; but principles of its applications and meeting the expected results.

First Factor:
First of all, we are continuously hypnotized by external. We are losing our control without our consciousness. Each and every second we are getting hypnotized by external factors. So we are reacting with respect to this hypnosis. We are unaware of what is going on. We are forgetting to think what is happening at right now and without our conscious our subconscious mind triggers certain actions with respect to external. But most of the case our actions leads to non-fruitful results if we could find time to think later.

Our life is the effect for our decision. Decision depends again our thought pattern. Every one has his own thought pattern. But during the Decision Making Time our mind is in absence and taking decision in vague. Then results are not meeting our expectation when Decisions taken in chaos and confusions. Whether you believe me or not we are taking decisions each and every moment. Every thought ends with a conclusion. They no need to come into execution; but even it ends with a conclusion.

Ok. Let it be. One thing we can understand that always we must in conscious. That is how to live in the presence. The power of Now solves all this complications.
Once I met a psychiatrist for my research. His face has some Tejas like a Yogi. I know that he never do any types of meditation. His beard touches his throat. No one believe as he is a medico doctor by appearance; but easily can believe as a Swamiji. I interviewed him and at last, I raised a query, “What is the secret of your Tejas in face ….?”

He answered, “I enjoy whatever I do. I mingle ,dissolve, and enjoying in the actions. Even drinking a cup of tea also, I taste its taste, enjoy the color, smell the odour and allow to all my cells and enjoy….This is the secret…”

Yes. I understood. During our conversation also his words were crystal clear. His communications were more Wisdom. Voice was polite and commanding ( you may rise a question, “How Polite and Command should be present in the same moment…?”), Assertive, Energetic and Enthusiasm.

But there is a chance that you are losing your control by enjoying. You are hypnotized more deeply. You cannot come out, if you are trapped into certain habits which yields a great negativity like alcohol, smoke, indulgence and etc., During enjoyment, switch is not in our hand. Initially you can start to enjoy with your consciousness; later you will be hypnotized very deeply and unable to come out.

How to overcome….? What to do…? How always we remain constant awareness each and every moment…? If we know this technique, half of the problems in our life will be vanished.
I will meet you later…….
